Happy Valintines Day

It is a pleasure to announce that Bruno and I have as of today been married three years.Silly girls write their wedding vowes when asked to be the bride, I think it was less then a year after we met that I wrote the ones I would say...We had never even kissed or held hands nor said love words for the first 4 or 5 years.....but I knew he was the one and I would spend at least 6 years watching him run while I would sit there knowing that he would be back and that God did not make me this aware that Bruno was ( and is ) the one for me. Anyway it took some time ( like eternity) for all the right things to fall into place...as things eventually did...

Here we are, happily married. We work hard to make our dreams come true which today include my beloved some miles from home working like a crazy man and me being the farm fairy at our ranch. I spend my days assuring the welfare of all these thing that I love....Trying my hardest with my efforts to take a good portion of pressure off of Bruno shoulders. I miss waking up to make him breakfast and pack up his lunch ( just as my mum did) and always having a great hot meal for him moments after he gets home and cleaned up. I miss surrendering the remote control and the intense scrabble games.I miss the thank yous for the little things like making up lunch. I miss that little look he gives me. The excitement that he is home from work and I get to take care of him ... Life is crazy and gets away from us every now and again..

So here we are far apart on this double day.....St. Valentine's and our anniversary. And I wish that I could sweep him away to the islands and give him the break he so needs and deserves more than any man I have ever met... we never did take a honeymoon. (that crazy life thing).

So darling if for some reason you get to read this know this.... You are my hero...I have everything I need .... Thank you being the best husband and friend a wife could ever hope to have. Thank you for always moving forward...Thanks for seeing me and loving me regardless of the flaws and faults we all have. Know you are respected and loved like no other man. Happy Anniversary ....

And still

There I am awaking on a peaceful Tuesday and still there is my Bruno sound to sleep on the sofa. He is tired and worn out..We have figured he has been at this pace for over a year now...No wonder he is so tired and could not drive last night...just before 7 last night he was fully asleep, were he still is at this very moment.

And is anyone fed up of hearing about Anna Nicole ???? Just how long will they milk this? And really is there anyone else who gets this kind of press from just dropping dead? Could there be something worthy to report..something that has real virtue and just a bit more " good for the soul " kind of news...Something heroic?

Okay I have to go get a bit more coffee and then make some breakfast...hope you are all doing great and will have a perfect day...

Sunday....uh oh Monday....

Brunos phone was ringing at 6:30 this morning after Bruno coming to bed at 3:11 am with Rocky giving a full round of Monday morning awaits you...I tried to return to sleep without much success and resorted to the coffee pot calling me, again it had not brewed and I stood there giving it the look...I think someone is running out of her coffee patience...So this Farm Fairy is just now finishing her 1st cup of java... Hope you all have a really good day...

sneaky

So there I was happily scrubbing the floors on my knees done with the living room and just at the front door when the phone rang at 11 something...it was Bruno telling me he wanted chicken fried steak and eggs at the Elger Bay Cafe......I said that sounded so good...and then it hit me he was just a few miles from home ..( sneaky guy) of course nothing but the floors were done and I had not yet showered..who would scrub floors after showering and anyhow I had wanted to get it all done, go shopping for food and then come home shower and wait like a good wife. Well Bruno was so tired from the last few weeks that he had to take an extra day off...and there I am smelling like who knows what , hair all outta place and in sweats on my knees...NOT the pretty little wife picture any man has in his head...I got cleaned up enough to go have the chicken fried steak and eggs. Breakfast was good and I drove back towards home after we stopped bye at Liz's place for a short hello...Bruno fell asleep half way home....I put him in the living room with Jonas and made them both just veg....I was happy to have them just being...

I did make it to the store and by the time I was back he was sound to sleep...I made myself a ham & cheese sandwich and watched mindlessly the television. ( I could not tell you what was on ) frankly I spent more time watching Jonas run up the pillow ladder onto Bruno and back down and into the cage. Jonas never did manage to wake Bruno with his bunny raceway antics. Thomas and Slinky slept by the fire and I too fell asleep... I dragged myself and Bruno to bed where he tossed and turned and could not fall back to sleep again. He left to the sofa...At around midnight the power had gone off and ruined whatever he had been watching ..the alarm and the talking voice woke me up....we talked for awhile and we went outside, I smoked a cigarette and wanted coffee...while visiting outside the lights came on and blinded us both..I returned back to bed after fixing the television for Bruno...I figured I was not going to get coffee at this hour as I would never make it back to bed...I woke at 3:30 forgetting that the coffee may not have activated itself..I pushed the button and went out...still warm near 50 degrees, the rain had stopped and it was just damp and mild.

Flash cleaned Brunos rig..I wanted to write " also available in white" in the dirt that made it look like charcoal...It took a great deal of time and Flash got a quick lesson in waxing....He did a good job and I was happy that Bruno had to do nothing.....Plans for the rest of his visit...NOTHING...Chores? ........Nope...Work of any kind? NADDA!!!It is all about vegging.....and maybe a little box of SEES CHOCOLATES for our anniversary....3 years on Valentine's Day....Bruno is still my hero and each day I try to remember that...how lucky am I????

Well you may or may not here from me till Tuesday....hope you are all really good and that you all get to rest this weekend...

Whats left to do ....

Well who knew I'd be side tracked and then halfway to finishing the project be stopped by an old grumpy cowboy....So I had just watched the tractor put a little more fir shavings into the truck...When old man cowboy came out growling at me and another guy...." that's all you get, no more..." I plead with him and he grunted "Come back next week...My 200 head have to bed down on the rest of that" he proceeded to tell me that I could drive by a see if he had a new delivery and then get more. So there are 3 out of 7 that we still need...so when Bruno comes home he will see the half job and I will feel ashamed for not completing it....And then I will have to explain why I need to do this....

Anyway I am looking forward to seeing hubby...He'll pull in sometime late tonight and then I will tempt him with food that he is never able to resist....Then he'll watch television and snuggle up to me and the bunny and we will all fall asleep right then and there...

So what is left to do? The dishes, the floors. clean sheets, a last minute sparkle to the bathroom and a good wax on the kitchen table. I had spent the rainy day cleaning the molding and all the door frames...as well as taking the vac to the underside of everything and over the books as well as the back of the 5x8 carpet..Bruno likes thing clean and I try my level best...at this stage of our life I'm better at getting it clean then ever before ( there still is a little clutter)...The reality is that I only know two people who keep there house cleaner then me....My mother (you could eat off of ANY surface in that house) and Ang...Everything is almost always in strict order....(that's a good thing) I'm sure I know more but have not been to there homes..

I had called hubby at a little after six this morning....HE WAS SOUND TO SLEEP!!! I then just called again and he had fallen asleep again....LATE! and so now he will be flying and disorganized in his hurry...I told you all he had hit the zombie state and this just proves that one needs a break of some sort...This is bad...hubby hates this and will be a little grumpy for most of the day...So the photo is of the dam Bruno lives at...but he gets to visit home in a few hours....

Well now I have tons to do still and have to get it all done and just right in less then 12 hours...hope you are all doing wonderfully well....P.S. I spent the day trying to make people laugh or smile...Making up for the growling I did in the last week....hope to hear from you all soon....and to the lurkers out there...could you just comment with a little "hello" ?

Two Days

But who would count...oh..okay so I have not been in the same room as hubby in a very long time..okay maybe it has not been that long, but with all that has been going on it seems like a long time. Flash and I worked on some things that I hope will put a smile on Brunos face...like the mass of wet leaves that settled along the gates. I picked up all the trash that the local pigs toss out their windows along the two streets that our fences run along. I managed to collect a whole #50 empty feed bag full... I like keeping the empty bags cuz I can put really heavy trash in it and even wet stuff can be put into them...

Anyway there is so much to do around here. I have all the stuff ready to make some cookies and maybe even a batch of brownies. Oh and did I ever have a yummy dinner at Liz's last night...Steak, bakers, veggies and threee cheese bread..of course I covered everything with butter....all but the steak...We spoke of doing a cookbook for Hope for Horses as a fund raiser...

It is starting to rain ( not new here) but I was hoping that it would stop while hubby was in town. It also keeps me from doing some of the outdoor chores, not all but a few.

Well kids I have a very busy day ahead of me...chiro and a meeting as well as a lot of cleaning. I suppose that I may just end up washing cloths at mom & dad's as well. I have two pairs of pants covered with mud that I'll try to knock off most of it before I hual it over to their place. Be dry and be well...
