Venetian Plaster & Lights

The new light I installed just before dark!!!

I finished the final coat of Venetian plaster on the walls today...

Was cranky and still have the migrain that is now a week in the works...The house is at 50 degrees ( cold helps) and the lights are no treat...So what do you think I did when the phone rang ( noise is NOT GOOD ) I was Miss cranky panties... I owe my sweet husband a public apology for my cranky good for nothing mood.

The plaster is smooth, feels like butter and the slight sheen and glow is wonderful!!!!

I spent the better part of the day, most if not all finishing and tearing out the horrible lights one stainless yuckie thing then the old plastic hideous neon ring.... I fought the old wiring cloth covered and very scary..... I am one of those fearless girls that on a regular occasion have wired new lights without turning the power off, the switch yes ( power no) if the house is wired right it usually is not much too worry about.... The over head light was kicking my butt screws too long then too short...blaa blaa.... The wall light was easy and took less then half an hour...I had the neon one hanging there from the ceiling and was happily installing the wall one...Finished that and then cut the wiring from the neon one and the whole #!@% thing came crashing down shattering the neon ring all over the place....

The vacuum bags exploded the other day and I had no way to get it all up...So I retrieve the bag tape it up and suck the glass praying the dog and cats will stall clear of the shards of glass spread out as far as the hallway and on the Chinese carpet...I finally get that done feed by flash light and come in to find that we have only chicken hearts to feed Buluga... (smells are not good for head ) I am just now able to cook the hearts and livers on a good day but wholly moly it was a struggle tonight I left both doors wide open and left the stuff to simmer on its own while I sat on porch and smoked a cigarette...This too is not good for head ( I hear you all saying it's not good for your lungs either Missy!!!!) I thought I might give up smoking tomorrow but the week has been a challenge and I have been cranky two days in a row....

I know it was nice outside but the bright light of the sun was not something my head could handle, even now I'm in the dark without the t.v. too loud....Even the frogs drove me a little crazy today... A sound that I have loved all my life....I'd sleep with window open just to hear them....This is why locked myself inside and only took three calls....They will leave a message if it is really important...

I have to go into town and get my beloved half and half and a mirror to replace the yuckie one that was covering the hole wear the medicine cabinet was ( I was surprised to find the huge hole when I removed the mirror )

Well I bid you all good night.....Sweet dreams to all......And darling husband please forgive me for being Miss Cranky Panties.....

I'm so sorry about your migraine. Mama has them and they made life awful at our house my freshman thru senior years in college.
I'd love to come eat fried chicken hearts with Buluga dog!!! I love them! Never tried a liver. Daddy and I used to fight over the hearts when I was little. I should've had Husband save me some yesterday!

Recipe for chicken liver Momma passed on to me.

Momma takes the chicken liver into small pieces. Takes bacon and wraps around chicken liver. Place toothpicks in bacon and liver. Barbeque on grill until bacon and liver is done. Eat and enjoy!!

I make this for the kids during the summer. They love it and so do I.
