Hi everyone.......Life has decided to go at twice the speed of light and i have had no energy to keep up with it...Thankfully Bruno has taken two months off and we will be able to finish the house over the next 60 days...I have had a series of broken this or that and now have to try and keep up with Bruno. I did make it out to Arizona to work for 5 days and have not recovered from that whirl wind fly in fly out like a fairy....

Anyway I am fine, nothing to serious that would keep me from you all too long.

will up date you over the next week of life here....or something that resembles it...

Bruno came home!!!!

Why? Because my dad turned 69 yesterday!!!! How cool is that?

Bruno came home finally as the passes cleared enough to allow him to be here. I spent our anniversary alone and in a funk as the pneumonia still has got it's grip on me after the flu that knocked me on my butt three weeks ago. The most I have done is eat just enough to keep malnutrition away and feed the animals and take a few photos.

It is frozen here again and Bruno will be leaving and I will be on my own again. I have decided that this farm fairy as capable as she is prefers the company of her Bruno. Furry babies are fine but hubbies are devine! It is hard to beleive we have been married four years now......

Rooster Wrangling

The Farn Fairy way..........

Well now kids you know that if there is going to be hens there can ONLY be ONE Rooster. So the little roosters and the teenage rooster left to go south a few miles.

This old cowboy called and said he was picking up some hens north of us and he would swing by and get the roosters I had on craigslist. He pulled up in his truck and hopped out like he was 16 years old popped open the hard flat bed cover and there inside I see he has 4 racoon traps all stuffed full of hens.....carring on.....the other trap was empty and I knew that he was gonna stuff the babies and the Apollo in there.....

Getting them all gathered up with an old weathered cowboy ( about 100 years old) .....We got into the garden shed that has unofficially turned into the chicken coop and tried our rodeo tricks in a 9x12 foot shed.....Now you'd think that catchen four little roosters would be no problem but no.......the older hens are squacking the little hens are yelping and the baby Roosters are screachen like we are about to take their heads off....Apollo the teenager was having none of this and was fixing on landing on my head when old cowboy swoopt up and nabbed his feet with his left hand and tucked him under his right arm and scooping up another in a few seconds flat. He stuffed all of in that little cage just as if it was picking up eggs....

Now I had put the roosters on craigslist for a donation to hope for horses for at least 5.00.....That old man handed me a five and took all 5 roosters and said thanks.....I was a little shocked thinking he would be giving me at least 25 for all the birds and he said. "wall I cun give yah two of those hens who lay green eggs if ya like...." I said well I'll take a few more then that if you don't mind.....

So now I have a couple of extra layers .....12 babies and 4 full grown hens and the beloved Rocky....whom I think killed two babies last night as I had counted 14 babies in all but tonight there was just a dozen. Anyway the roosters are all gone and Rocky will start his gathering again after Apollo tried to take over the flock of babies.

I just could not stand to think one day I'd come out the back kitchen door and find those two going at to the death of one of them....So there you have it.....the babies should start laying in the next few monthes and I will be able to sell those eggs to the gal down the road. And still manage to have enough for us too.....

May or may not be able to come home..The one pass is closed the other open as of this minut but the drive to it is over 3 hours and then another 2 to get home.....on a good day but the snow is coming down hard up to a foot today...pray that he comes home and that I get to visit him for and extra day that I had not counted on.

Anyway the baby bunnies are getting to the zip zip stage and I will go to the barn after it warms up and get the puppy cage thing and set it up in the living room for a little play yard for them. I should go to the senior center and get a blanket to lay down so they do not destroy the new rug we have. Romeo (one of the twin rabbits ) is busy shreading the pillow case hammocks i put in the cages...The new ones that are sold in pet stores are 18 dollars each and are in tatters in a month or two.....So i go buy old pillow cases and make my own...Buck of course ( orange baby kitten) is growing like a weed and is the torture unit of the bunny world. he lays ontop of Romeos cage with his paws shoved down to try and wack at Romeo when giving the chance..Romeo takes the play for only so long and then nails Buck with a nip....then they both sniff at each other and proceed to sleep.....

We have the only male bunny to give birth as Bruno nor mayself can come to terms the he is a she so will remain a he....ah Halleyville

The news tells us now that West bound at Stevens is now closed.......woe is me......

Now you know that i am injuried and trying to post anything is like a gigantic pain for my right hand,wrist and arm...but never mind....I have story!!! So while I await to company and have mission organization on ( hopefully to inspire me subconsiously I will tell you my tale...But before I do Yes the pass is still closed and Bruno, even if he could come home would be stranded by the State Patrol.....

Anyway....you have all heard me snival and whine like a little girl without her panties on about the phone/dsl/cable and long distance provider and all of those dellemmias over the last two years...I got a letter from a collection agency sayoing " YOU OWE MONEY!" with frustration I called them explained in my best way that the bill was wrong and that they needed to send it back to the provider so I could get it solved...I got the usal your a dead beat pay your bill...click...
I called back and told them not to call again.( my right by law) So I called the company ( we will call them X for now) and anyway after being suffled to one person who would not or could not help and then on hold for some 119 minutes....I hung up and fed the ranch....chopped the bunnie veggies up, collected all the eggs , fed four cats and then Daizy and finally myself. I decided that I would try early in the morning to resolve this crazy nonesense....I asked for a manager when a real person in our own country finally got on the line.......In my mind I'm thinking "YAHOO...Farm Fairy has a guy on the phone who speaks clearly"

"Hello my name is Aaron how can I help you? " I wrote down the time as i usally do knowing from the past I might be stuck to the phone for the next several hours just being tossed around. But to my surprise I said " Im sure your nice but can I speak to a manager.....Sweet guy informs me " let me see if I can help you first...ok?" oh here we go...calm down there farm fairy give the kid a break, it is early no sense in exploding before noon....and you won't beleive it I said sure give it a whirl I have all day and night too just let me put you on hold to feed tonight....

AARON you rock or whatever you young guys say these days...in less then 45 minutes he had most of my troubles solved and then he transfered me some one who refused to even call the collections but she did transfer me to another person......

"Hello my name is Jessie how can I help?" Could it be true another nice young guy who really wants to help me? Oh JOY!!!! I started to explain my woes and he did everything possible to help me.....TWO HEROS in the same DAY! Is it a dream? oh me oh my....how lucky am I?

the long long crazy life of Halleyville
And yes my dear friends I am alive and feeling better from the bug that bite me....aw hell I am flat out tired. Jonus is not a he as was told to this farm fairy hench why I NEVER thought to check...yes we have babies ( 2 that I have seen) and they are cute as far Jonus will let me see.Now for building news...the new kitchen is in the cabinets are fab and the Granite Works Inc guys are making their last visit to the kitchen this week...then you'll all get the photos I am going to take.All other work has stopped for the moment and I am doing paper work like a crazy fairy and trying m level best to get the taxes all done.I promise that I will check in as soon as possible, which I know looks as if I may never return...never fear your farm fairy will return soon......aw...I hope.

Well Bruno awoke to the evil cellphone alarm going off at three different times...life or something that it resembles includes yet more water and Bruno on his way out the door. The meanie called at the top of the pass to tell me how wonderful all the snow falling around him was. While i stood there wanting to scream at the top of my lungs about the drizzle and gray that seems to continue to the end of earth and time itself.

Christmas rules did not get met at agreed by both parties involved. The devil made Bruno buy your Farm Fairy a wonderful saddle....tooled by hand and oh the delight of it as I drift on thinking that someday my prince will take me away from the rain that keeps me from the saddle...yes I've heard of people riding in the driving rain...but lets face it I have already proven my pioneer ways ....yes not voluntarily but proven all the same.

Here it is almost a year gone and i feel I have done little to prove that I have weathered her well....
Although my face sure seems to be showing it.
Alright kids, I have to run will try to keep up better in the weeks ahead...miracle's could still happen , even here at Halleyville.....feeling more like the sea then a ranch...love to you all

I sit here the fire now off the lights dimmed and tears stream down my face...they should not, not this tough farm fairy but here they are. The country music videos do not help, this old house, the life it has the animals all a snuggle help...just not the same. Sitting out here alone fog heading my way....trying to hide my stars, my dreams the things I thought the things i wished for wanted for ....the fence between me and sorrow, missing so much acting like i can not care or could care a less. And yet tears fall trying to figure out why what is here is not enough what should be here is not.....I have everything but i have not. I have enough but not enough...A year to full of struggle, a year full of so much but little of it would i repeat or could repeat. No, there are no words no fleeing thought of something more or less....just this sorry that gives me no rest. Love to you all....

December Already?

And a year has nearly come and gone. We had really hoped to have been to done with the house.The series of chaos and detours and misadventures have kept your farm fairy very busy. Even the fleeting calls to Ang is a luxury...one I live for.

Bruno too has his hands full at the dam and the date to be home is now long gone and we shall see if he makes it back by May....a full 5 months longer than expected.

The need for a vacation is more than one could even think possible....Brunos passport arrived yesterday.....and I long for just the chance to go...go anyplace....the ranch has it's caretakers and they are trusted friends to boot...Ah now just the hope that Bruno does take the time off as he thinks, hopes and promises.....the problems are the dangled carrots that are floating at him....The next dream job or is it that adrenaline junkie I have chosen?

Your Farm Fairy here is tired the wrist is not better....and I wear the brace randomly...wash hands forget to put it back on, removed while asleep and so forth. And lets face facts is it really possible to think I have 20 minutes four times a day to ice the darn thing? Ya right!

Daizy has taken charge and thinks it is her given right to herd and torture the alpacas. We are working on that. I need at least two more of me. Daizy is now the owner of the watch and she is really very good at it if someone is within 50 feet of any of the fence lines she will let it be known...period.

The baby chickens are growing fast. The one of four that Daizy managed not to kill on the first set of babies is a rooster who is just learning to crow. There are three baby black and white roosters.....all the roosters will need knew homes ....so we have 6 new hens and my egg count should rise. I miss my huge haul of them ....the city gal who pays me $4 per dozen is suffering as well. If it was possible to convince Bruno to let me have a dozen hens I would. Trying to convince him to exchange the roosters for a few hens did not work.

I was hoping to post pics but the back splash in the kitchen is not done yet....but as soon as it is done you shall see the new upstairs kitchen....All work has stopped downstairs til Bruno returns.

Flooding here? Nope! frozen this morning but the last weeks rain avoided Halleyville...What a blessing. The news breaks my heart for those who have lost so much and so many who lost it all. A few farms lost everything.....important farms-organic ones that will not recover as easily as others will.

Okay I am late feeding as well as getting that second cup....sorry it has been so long since my postings I am truly overwhelmed with what needs to get done. I hope to catch up with you all soon....

I spent the day yesterday thinking about Buluga and her peacefully dying last year...Grateful she was never here for all the chaos that has ensued this last year...the shear amount of all the crazy things would have been to much on the old gal. So here I am final able to to see Gods wisdom ...Hindsight usually bites me in the tussie and today it is just there settled in my heart. I have over the last year had good dose of challenging things. and I am still able to say ....."It is not happening to me it is just happening"

Anyway I am watching the news and Bruno is sound to sleep....He had left the dam and made a series of stops resulting in a 6 hour trip just to get home...doctors, feed, haircut and boots...and finally home. He made it just in time to unloaded the feed while the ranch hand was still here.

The kitchen was gutted just the week before and then our cabinet guy had some family emergency and was unable to get the cherry cabinets in until this past Monday and yesterday the green granite was but on the top.....tomorrow the spigot and water get hooked up...and then Bruno and I will go get the new dishwasher, fridge an over the stove micro/convection /vent fan .....and hopefully it will be all together enough to have photos for you all. The cherry is just amazing well worth the wait of weeks to have them made, custom from our families cabinet makers....they even came out to the house in Wenatchee ( over 275 miles round trip) to do our place there. We will post photos asap...

undefeated too! The problem? well lest just say that life took over and has a contract that I am not being paid nearly enough to fulfill. Okay so there is no" all is quiet on the western front".

At lest Farmwife and Inkling got to spend time together.

Ang and I have no state lines parting us...her life and mine are busy...head spinning crazy busy.

Me? Oh I have learned to wire in all the plug ins as well as the light rockers and three way lights, run lines in conduit and a few other dandy tricks that Bruno I am sure will enjoy knowing his goonbalina has taken too.

Things that have been wreaking havoc on my mine?

I still ten months later have to go to the laundry mat....

I can get the custom cabinets installed just as soon as I get the old ones out.

Let me tell you the install is far easier over all then uninstalling.

When I was young there was only four types of aspirin at the local Lucky store.

i do not get most people....good? not good? who knows?

I have more paperwork then the county to file and deal with.

I have no perfect fit....(never mind)

and Daizy is a little crazy ( happy? ding bat? or just so relieved that she has the fun farm to live at at( or is it funny farm?)

Bruno will come home to repair the 2nd contractors screw ups....yes the second one too blew it as well....this is no surprise....and one would think that we (Bruno & I ) are at the end of the tolerance rope.

If one wants it done correctly one must do it ones self...

hence one needs her Bruno home...

One would think that one would be able to sleep peacefully away in her bed without too much chaos. But life is not so......Crazy Daisy brought her chew bone to bed where she proceeded to chew,chomp and sniff at it next to my ear.Buck, the rotten was exploring how many places his teenage kitten paws could get into ,including my nose, my ear and several other places. Jack had too cry for the better part of the morning (2am until I tossed him outside at 5am) about what I have no idea.I tried to snuggle with him, put him with Daisy which normally they snuggle up,fall asleep and all is well. Boy, not this morning. So there I was tossing the rotten babies out the door, thinking I might return to bed. BUT................NOOOOOO. As the very moment I flipped the porch light on, Rocky the rooster took that as his clue that he was now to wake the world. So bed or coffee????just not right you know. So coffee it is. Good morning all.

I have a huge day ahead and little to no motivation to do any of it, at all. I dream , wish and pray for sleep.

Two weeks ago I had little visitors here..I will post about it when I can load photos.

I have spent the last several days working on the ranch and trying to keep things in order despite the rains and wind. I can tell you the mud is driving me mad.Oh but the freshness is good.Please know that life is just full of chaos right now and my posts will be brief at best. Do forgive me for this. Bruno and Farm Fairy received a telephone call regarding Bruno's Mother. Her health has taken a turn for the worse and they are giving her a matter a time before passing.

Farm Fairy has driven to be with Bruno and his Mother.

Farm Fairy and Bruno did not ask me to do this but I am asking that you send Prayers. IF She has time she'll post an update or I will at her request.

This is Dahlia. She’s one of the nearly 150 horses we have worked with over the years. When Dahlia arrived, she was more than 200 pounds underweight and near death. Originally destined for slaughter, she was bought by a family who intended to sell her for profit. But while they were waiting for a buyer, they didn’t see any need to feed or take care of her. And Dahlia was slowly starving to death. Today Dahlia is happy, healthy, and has a job! She acts as a mentor for new horses at the barn, helps teach animal control officers and others what to look for in neglected or abused horses, and is a patient and kind companion for children and adults.

Won’t you please help us restore hope in other horses like Dahlia?

I went to bed early maybe 9pm....hoping to get some extra sleep. But that was not to happen, I was up at 2:17 this morning! Strange that I had some idea I would sleep longer if I went to bed earlier. I awoke with the pile of cats, all four of them pinning me down in a delightful way. I have been so busy as I have left for a few days and have to make up the missing time at double speed. Hope you are all well.

That it is strange that Ang hacked into the blog ....think again. She has my life under better order than I. REALLY. If or when I die she will pop in and help poor Bruno get through the maze that accumulates in ones life. And it has been a huge life....She knows everything. passwords, bank stuff and all. She has spent the last year creating Jupiter's Muses and I the lowly artist sits here , boggled by all the details. Her mind is an amazing go getter done, thinking on the fly like few I know.( I know 4 people like that, but only two that I wish I had the same processes ) Her drive for perfection only rivals my mom. The one and only thing I really am truly jealous ( green with envy) of in anyone. At least I admire the right thing, huh? The process that is required to create Jupiter's Muses would have stopped me many months ago. So if you are kind enough to stop by and give a peek of what you think that would help out heaps. This is Ang and I've hacked into Temera's Blog for just a moment of your reading. Please bare with me.

As you may or may not know Temera has opened a online store (Jupiter's Muses) selling her handcrafted jewelry, handcrafted swivel hook pendants, magnets, bookmarkers, and note holders etc.

I am always looking for suggestions with our website, blog, and myspace trying to read up on the latest tools to help it look more ascetically pleasing.

A new camera was purchased this week and I am currently re shooting her work and working to make this more ascetically pleasing as well. I've posted new pictures on the blog as well as the website yesterday.

Have been repairing the plumbing issues as well as the electric.....yes on my own...yes with a few leaks on my head and a few zaps. nothing to worry about.

I am pretty sure I am going straight to hell for this...and I feel like a schmuck for not seeing the date before this morning a few minutes ago. I should just pack my bag grab my keys and swap trucks and get back to Everett as soon as my ass could move. The thing is I spoke to ANG and told her were I was going and she did not say " oh no Missy you have already made plans what are you thinking?" So now here I am unable to sleep because my word has gone down the toilet....and to a kid.....oh I am going to hell for this one. How in the world am I to make up this one I do not know. Any ideas? September is the crazy month of Birthdays...Bruno, Bugaboo and Mom....

I was to drive out earlier but...the Ford dealership has real issues....I had other plans.... it has turned out to be easier for me to go see Bruno than him to me...Why ???? Well because he can not work on the house if he is not there...hence he gets a little more rest. So I picked up his truck from the dealer and then drove her on over.The new builder will come out on Monday and start the garage that we had to tear down as the last builder made a rats mess of the whole thing. We have had one series of chaos and problems with the trades and one hopes the worst is behind us. Anyway it is warm here and the wind is really nice.I'll post more photos in the next few days. I Hope you are all well and life is good.

A)either resolve that you will never have arms long enough to read the aspirin bottle or

B) make appointment with the eye guy and get a bi-fold script...

Now this farm fairy has always had perfect vision until the last few years....you know that wham...your over forty and all will slowly change and life will not be the same...trust me on this OK?

so I will have glasses with bi-folds....oh dear that is a little shocking.. I too have found that I need more light to do things like read. My mom rolled with laughter when I told her.

The new eye guy is very nice and agreed to see Bruno on a Sunday the next time he comes home.

Now then it is Brunos 50th birthday today!!!my how time flies. He looks 39 at the most and is still my hero. I am taking him to dinner tonight and we will spend the day ust being and I will see to it that he gets some rest.

Or something like life is creeping in my way. Each turn,every act I am faced with a detour of one sort or another. And feel like I am climbing up a never ending ladder..Or one of those treadmills that you never gain real mileage. So am so beyond tired and just want it to all stop. I found that I have no patience for ANYTHING...small or large....It all seems huge. I can not finish the second coat of paint with the fog as I can not bear the blisters that follow.So the heat wave that should be arriving will assist me in returning to the job.I am glad we painted ourselves (mom & I) it looks far better than what it would have.

I need sleep...real deep sleep a thing that seems to be just out of reach for this farm fairy. I am easily angered and not liking people or even trying to be or act sympathetic. Any kindness that I have is someplace in me waiting for a worthy person. I know that this is all rather shocking but in general I do not care for people or like most of them on any regular basis.I choose with caution these days.

I am still mad about a person whom decided that I am a thief....very long crazy story. I am MANY things....a hard ass, bit*#, complacent, hot headed , independent, prideful, overbearing, cynical , and several more things but a thief I am not. Anyway Bruno & I had a long talk about this and the people involved....And I came to the realization I have no respect for either person. So it is no real great loss at this point. It is like losing K-Mart not losing my coffee.....

Anyway I am hoping you are all well and that life is slow and peaceful.

sneaking in while I slept. The world as small as I try to make it has crippled my idea of putting the second coat of paint on the two remaining sides of the house.
( chilled and foggy) We have stopped all construction down stairs at this point... And Bruno has informed me he may or may not be over there till Christmas. And this next week will mark the one year of being away from home. It too marks the one year that Bondo took off to the south landing at his homestead in California. I know that life is far better there for our friend....Bruno turns 50 here soon and I know the only one he really would like for dinner is Bondo.

Anyway all seems a little out of crazy Hollywood movie.... cats, dog, bunnies all a bit restless and the fact is that I am to pack up the kitchen upstairs and basically relocate every item out of it to who knows where and then remove old cabinets all for the new ones that will arrive sometime in the next two weeks. I have a plan and it all seems rational...well sorta....i just have failed to figure out how all the dishes will get cleaned...

The horses all have to have their teeth floated and I am not looking forward to that...anyway all is right in the world for the moment (IE) i have coffee what more does this farm fairy need? Hope the heat wave takes it easy on you all....I'm wearing a sweat shirt and wish I could send you all the cool day that I have ahead of me.

with the dead chicken does not work nor would it...BUT the new shock collar took about a week and on low settings works fine....

Now befor all you bleeding hearts get your panties all twisted I tried the other things...with great failure and one baby chicken who is and will be crippled all of her life. When I called the shelters about re homing her I was given the statement that they will put her down asap...( not fair for her ) or the problem. So I called our vet and was given one more choice. Yes they cost alot....BUT if done right will work out for you the dog and the chickens.....True to his word and after talking with Bruno I ordered one. With in the week we are now pretty clear that if you go near one you will be zapped. End of story , and of the problem.

Now then Bruno came home with two tons of feed and was able to stay home and correct the problem of the Garage door ...which involved tearing down all the bad work that was done while he was gone.He is still furious about the whole thing and we are faced with a long winter we had hoped we would not have here.

The baby chickens and the baby kittens are well and growing fast. ( minus the one Daisy killed) I have yet to get the alpacas sheared and wonder if I should just wait till next spring...

Our new builder is back logged and we have to wait even more to finish up the basement. Well at least the bathroom will be ALL FINISHED this week and I will post a video (I hope) as soon as the final touches are done.

And I too am to have the new kitchen upstairs completed this month. With any luck at all we will not have the chaos of the last few months.

Bruno is so tired and there is little on my end I can do to help or solve that . Anyway he turns 50 in a few days and I will be going back to visit him for the weekend. I had hoped to plan for a large party but the truth is that he would not be here and will have to go back to work the following day. I am at a loss as what he wants when asked he said to put some money into the vacation fund.(uh, already done) I know for fact he NEEDS at least a month off and at least two weeks away on the beach or hunting or something..No place near home nor work....I say Yellowstone as he has not seen it and we could just take the drive tour thing as he would not be able to just stay at the beach and do nothing.

Now the list I made awhile back is no shorter and half the things on it never did get done.My high hopes and the lack of help up until last week has been mediocre at best. I found a young man named Dan who Bruno liked very much. Does not speak too much and just works...never slows down and just keeps going. We got two tons of feed put up and FOUR trips to the dump done in less then two days as well as had dinner at the Thai place with mom and dad last night. Hope all is well in your worlds.

I awoke to one dog three cats and fog engulfing me... Daisy was spooned up to me on the left head next to mine and her nose as close to the opened window as possible.The kittens on the right curled up under my arms and on my neck and Slinky on my head as if I would save him from the evil dog. The fog glowing as the deer across the way grazed. All was well until the squirming began. Well off to feed and wash dished before my painting savior arrives....Mom saves my sorry butt yet again.

And it is all paint. I have to say mom and I can paint and we paint well. The fact is NO ONE has ever painted this poor old girl right to begin with. And if I had more time I would have sanded her down all the way. We did put two coats of primer on everything and that WILL help a lot. We will put two coats of paint on. Anyway it is suppose to be nice for the next few days and I will spend every daylight hour painting. It is best this way. As each and every painter was going to simply knock of the old chipping paint give her a spray coat of primer and then give her one spray of paint. Does ANYONE do things right anymore? I mean really what is it with NO ONE using a brush to make sure the paint is really on? The change is really amazing. I am pleased with it so far...

Daisy has a total of 9 eggs now and I still have no idea to where they come from. Hope yo all have a really great day.

My best friend Bruno is a walking zombie and asked when I called for 30 more minutes of sleep....When I called he did not hear the phone ( too exhausted for words) and I just let him sleep.

So maybe when his birthday comes around ( mid September) he will be able to sneak away.

In the mean time I have cleaned the bedroom and was able to get the kitchen out of the filth stage. And pick up after the electrician who does not pick up after himself...or show up for the third day in a row....OK yesterday I understand ( he became a grandfather) but assured me he would be here today.....I have decided I will pay him when he is finished instead of every week.....that SHOULD make him get it done...I was told last weekend it would be done by today......NOT EVEN close to reality....I am now pulling up the whip ass!!!

It is cold here and the rest of America is according to the news under heat warnings. Mean while here at Halleyville ( N.W. Washington ) I am able to transplant as well as let the dog or any other animal for that matter out all day long. I am typing while wrapped up in a lined flannel shirt that I wear in the winter. The high here may reach 68 degrees.

In other news I ended up being pushed off the bed several times by two kittens and a dog who insisted that the kittens needed a full bath. Daisy is still under restriction and we (I) do not trust her for life nor money enough to let her roam unsupervised.Daisy has decided that the cheap cat food is more her style than the Iams that I purchased for her. We will see if Conway feed has a dog food that she will enjoy more.

I will tell you all what I am doing this morning a little later on in the day. Lets just put it this way it does not involve a lick of work....It does involve food and a little visit by someone very special. As well as one of the places that I will never forget. It will be something special that I am looking forward to.

I have heard yet more news of the cougar sightings in the area. One on Village road a mere 1/4 mile from here another on 300th...a mile or so away. I am still hoping to see him again maybe just not in the driveway at 1:30am.

Well it seems that the Halleyville Ranch located it the very center of chaos has had just a few things that had to come crashing down around the farm fairy. This is news folks...The farm fairy had tears streaming down her face. As some if not all of you know there is a policy that reads "There is absolutely ,positively no snivelling, whining or crying" you will be immediately asked to leave without question. Period.

How in the world did this happen asked one worker......

Well lets see last night there was no hot water for a bath, no outlets on to grind coffee, then Jack (baby black kitten ) disappeared and the final straw was the irrigation and pasture water lines had been cut and capped. oh and the farm fairy got a urinary/bladder infection that set her sideways to the point that she could not pick up a glass of water. When the plumbers and electricians finally left the walk in clinic was closed.....

Bruno called his bride and said he had a dream that he was not allowed to come home until the house was done. And he never got to return as each time he called home his farm fairy said the house was not done yet.

maybe Bruno and farm fairy could meet at Seatac airport and just run away...to the Big Island.......h now that my friends is a dream.

That the electricians that assured me they would return so I might have an oven or a microwave to heat some supper up did not bother to show up nor call? They had said they would hook up the heated travertine floors and my toes would be toasty by 8pm? and I would have a hot meal which I now have been with out for over a week.....ugh! I love my life. I love my life......Thank heavens Bruno is not here and can not see his Goonbalina melt down....at least I have cereal for dinner right?

It seems that this farm fairy is destine to have a lifetime full of water issues...From nearly drowning off the Hotel Coronado too not having hot water. A bath is all I wanted and there I was so happily trying to fill the new tub up where in my mind I could drift off just enough, crawl into bed and sleep a full night. My dream, my need ( at least I thought) and frankly my little escape from the world in general.I had turned on the hand held and washed out the kitty tracks that the tub now had mysteriously gotten and then I locked in the drain to filler her up.

What I got was me standing over the tub buck ass naked screaming at it...." No, damn it just a hot bath, I need a bath, hell, I want one" and out the spout came cold water.....turned on the other one and got ice cold water.....I wanted to scream or cry or laugh....and spent the next few minutes making a phone call to the guys regarding no hot water... Never mind it has started to rain here already...Never mind that it is pissing down rain right now. Never mind that the tub has the leak that I thought was fixed...a little leak that covered the floor, which involved one of two clean and dry towels that managed to keep from being covered in the various stages of dust, dirt and the natural crap that floats about while the entire house is under construction and repair.

I have water but no bath....and so I spent the night tossing and turning wanting so much to sleep. I awoke at 4am took only half a cup of coffee, thinking I could go back to bed, uh, no!!! So i decided I would up date you...at least I have a toilet, right? and gee it all looks pretty swell...and hopefully when the sink/vanity is hooked up to the water I will be able to not have water issues and brush my teeth in the bathroom....uh, good luck farm fairy....And with that Rocky is awaking the world. Thanks to mom and dad...Dinner too Yellow fin fresh from daddies yearly fishing trip. Tomorrow I will have a toilet, vanity and tub maybe even running water too boot. I just found out I have had no telephone service for over three days , huh no wonder no one was calling back...Never mind that I was miffed as to why no one called. The shocker of the day was when a 20 year electrican informed me that the house could have burned down to the ground...so we ARE having every wire replaced in the entire house.

okay so Daisy is still here as I just could not give up on her...Still waiting for the trainer to call...Cross your fingers we can keep her as long as she does not keep killing.

how to getter done faster...

I have come to the conclusion that few things motivate people...One such motivation is waving "bonus" money in ones face. So the worker who has repeatedly showed up well past noon almost without fail was given a little "mojo" I made an offer (unlikely he will be here) that if he showed up by 8 am I would hand him $50.00...Why you ask? well lets put it this way I figure the sooner he is here the sooner I will have power...and lets face it when you show up at 4pm you are not going to put in a full 8...so there it is...It is unlikely that I will be parting with the fifty..but with that said I'd be glad to just to getter done! and whats more I just want to clean the house from the piles of dust that never seem to stop...sheet rock to grout to whatever...It is futile to even think about it.

I have a habit of opening the windows and grabbing the leaf blower...whatever works to remove the dust,huh? Now there is this story about this farm fairy opening all the doors and windows in the old house...i hauled out said leaf blower and went from top floor to bottom...the only problem with this is that when i put the blower to the bottom of the fridge a confetti of dust, dirt and what not floated up the back and over the top of said fridge falling ever so over this farm fairies head.

UPDATE: at 7:54am they showed up...I eat my words and pay the grinning guy!!!but now i will get a full 8 hours out of them!!!! Which is worth a lot right now....tootles.

Well here is the low down....The mural of Lady Godiva is going in the bathroom...she is 30inches high by 42 inches wide on 6 inch tumbled marble...the photo shows the location...(the hole without tile)

The tub,toilet and vanity will be installed come Monday. I am hoping to the mural to arrive within a few days. I will post photos as we get closer.

On other I am truly at the point of mere sleep walking.

Bruno has received a promotion that I can not even begin to tell you about...but it is wonderful news!

It broke my heart to give her up but the facts are clear....there ain't no killing here...PERIOD.. The explosion blew off my air tank, toolbox. buckeled the floor. once we pushed out of the kill zone and stoped to asses damages. I was out of my truck fixing shit had spare tire ready. lol I brought it all in, under my own power. It was awsome the took me to medic for standard routien. the medic was suprised " shit your blood pressur isnt even up..

This is what the only remaining bathroom looks like as of this morning....I am told I will have a working toilet tonight! Yah right !!! Well we'll see...

Deconstruction

And the list of things to be removed resolved or changed is long and seems over night to get more complicated. This morning I will remove every item from the only remaining and working bathroom and then later this morning it will be gutted and the the tile guy will be able to start the processes of putting the travertine ( from Turkey) on the floor and up the wall....I hear I will not be with out the toilet longer then a day...How this is possible I do not know...

I have been going for some 12 and 14 hours a day The fence is now up not just string between some trees, it is painted and the house is about to be painted as well..no tv no puter and little sleep. Hope you are all very well..Bruno and I both need a month or two off....

Liz came by the other day a sweet lab mix in her car...Out leaps this little sweetie ( who reminded me of Buluga ) She is about two years old and clearly likes it here, and will start some farm training this next week. I will get her shots as well as fixed, She has had a litter in the last 6 months and that is enough. I have named her Daizy Mae. Liz rescued her off the little highway down the way after nearly being hit herself, Liz took matters into her own hands ( this is normal) and after some assistance got the poor dog into her rig. She then came by here some time later and her she is.....I know she looks a lot lot Buluga and they do have some traits in common..... She will try to love the bunnies and care for them like they are pups...The kittens are still hissing at her and it is slowing down ...The last photo is of the kittens and Savannah on my lap....the three ended up sound to sleep there for sometime...

Anyway Bruno came home and he decided we could keep her....so we now have a new addition...7 months after losing Buluga....to the day!
